American Girl Place Meet-Up Day!

I am also going to post this on American Girl Enthusiasts board.

Since summer is coming up, I thought maybe we could plan a day to meet up at American Girl Place Chicago. Anyone who lives near the area or is planning to travel to Chicago in the near future? I would love to go just once with other grown-ups who love AG as much as I do, since I don't know any personally.

You guys that live in the New York and Los Angeles could also plan similar meet-ups. Hey-that could be great-we could have National American Girl Meet-Up Day!!! One day over the summer where there are meet-ups in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. That would be so much fun! Who is up for putting something together? I would bring a doll, too which is something I have never done.

That does sound fun. But I don't know how I would be able to go. I have no clue how long or how much it is to take a train to and from CT/NY.

I live close enough that I can go in (almost) any time. It's actually been a couple of months since our last trip. [img]eek.gif[/img] We usually go to a couple of the birthday celebrations each year but those days are really crowded.

I am 12 hours away from AGPC (driving). I think I am willing to try. I would definately need help with the logistics (what highways, safety issues). I love meeting board members!!!!
